| Anne Desmet - Urban Evolution: Anne Desmet
was invited by the Whitworth Art Gallery in Manchester, UK, to show
new work that stemmed from the idea of Urban Evolution. The exhibition,
held in 2008, was seen by over 33,000 visitors and generated much media
interest. It toured other museums and galleries throughout the UK until
2010. A special feature was a suite of works based on the impressive
Victoria Baths in Manchester, winner of the BBC TV's first Restoration

work: Olympic Metamorphoses - concerning the architectual and
archaeological development of the Olympic site in east London and shown
at Hart Gallery in late 2010. Sales included works purchased for the
collections of the Museum of London, the Ashmolean Museum and the
London Metropolitan Archive. Hart Gallery will feature Anne Desmet's
work at the London Original Print Fair at the Royal Academy of Arts

| British Museum exhibition: Anne Desmet was one of only three invited
contemporary artists whose Babel Tower images were featured in
the British Museum's memorable exhibition: 'Babylon: Myth and
Reality' (2009). She also presented a lecture at the Museum about her Babel
